We are looking for an Operations Center Foreman to join our growing team in Catarina, Texas.
The Operations Center Foreman will be to lead and manage a team of well analysts who are responsible for the effective daily production of all assigned wells.
This includes monitoring and adjusting artificial lift set points, tracking production variance or other KPIs, and working with the field-based team to identify areas for improvement or trouble-shoot problem wells.
Activities will be focused on increasing production from existing wells, optimizing artificial lift, monitoring real-time well performance, and providing quality control of measurement and production data.
This person will also provide support to field operations to work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
Roles & Responsibilities Personal commitment to Health-Safety-Environmental Stewardship:
Maintain compliance with company HSE policies and demonstrate the ability to respond quickly and confidently to safety and environmental events.
Demonstrate the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist.
Lead and manage a team of well analysts Provide guidance, training, and support to team members Assign tasks & performance goals to team Monitor performance of team Monitor production across short- and long-term horizons.
Identify upsets or opportunities for improvement and communicate variances to the production team.
Optimize existing artificial lift systems, including gas lift, plunger lift, and rod pump.
This will include remotely updating lift settings where possible.
Communicate with Operator and Production Foreman as appropriate.
Track production variance and downtime daily.
Prepare variance and associated production reports as requested.
Use digital tools to identify production data problems and refer them to the appropriate person.
Interface with field operations team and provide ongoing support.
Monitor production trends, lead troubleshooting of problem wells, and recommend wells for workover.
Identify and participate in value-add projects:
Be able to identify and make recommendations for improving business processes using data.
Cooperate with personnel to complete projects and tasks.
Verify well tests and allocations, as needed.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate or higher degree in STEM areas of study preferred.
Minimum 5
years of oil and gas experience preferred.
Program Proficiencies:
SCADA System, TIBCO Spotfire, MS Office Excellent communication and organizational skills, complemented with a strong work ethic.
Good team and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
An acceptable pre-employment background test.
